Ontario Bill 14 would make website official copy of the law

Ontario is looking at designating the text of statutes and regulations posted on the e-laws website an “official copy” of the law. An official copy is presumed to be an accurate statement of the law, unless the contrary is proved. The e-laws webist is a joint project of the Ministry of Government Services and the Ministry of the Attorney General.

Bill 14 2005 - An Act to promote access to justice by amending or repealing various Acts and by enacting the Legislation Act, 2005. Thanks to IT.Can for the heads up.
